Use the right terms and words
Words and language are powerful tools, and when used incorrectly they tend to inflict hurt on others. An example could be the fact that many parents of autistic people and professionals who work with Autistic people prefer terminology such as “person with autism,” “people with autism,” because they do not consider autism to be part of an individual’s identity and do not want their children to be identified or referred to as “Autistic”, because they are much more than what our community sometimes labels them to be.

How you can help
There are several things we as both a united society and community can achieve, however, the decision to act upon them is what holds the majority of us back, these options range from volunteering at the nearest centers to donating at the closest charity, or simply spreading the word.
